A: I legitimately believe that Nationals fans deserve better. I also believe that you get what you accept in life. I reached the point where I can't accept Bill Ladson in his current capacity.
Q: Is it personal? You must really hate him, huh?
A: No, I simply want him to:
1. Get better at his job; or
2. Get fired for not being good at his job
I am completely indifferent between those two outcomes. I hope he morphs into a cross between Buster Olney, Bill James, and Rob Neyer. That being said, I happen to think such an evolution is unlikely. Ladson has covered the Expos/Nationals franchise since 2002. If Outcome 1 was still in play, I'm pretty sure there would have been a sign by now.
Q: Do you have a petition I can sign to get Bill Ladson fired?
A: No, because petitions accomplish nothing.
Q: Is this blog only concerned with the misadventures of Bill Ladson?
A: Yes, but his misadventures are wide-ranging - game recaps, trade rumors, personnel moves, player assessment. It's really not a limiting constraint.
Q: What do you hope to get out of this site?
A: I think it's obvious that we need a better beat writer and am surprised that a Google search for 'Ladson Sucks' doesn't produce more relevant results. With a little luck, I hope to change that.
